London, culture and history

"The value of a civilization is not measured by what it knows how to create, but by what it knows how to preserve."

(Edouard Herriot)

London, the capital of the United Kingdom, was founded by the Romans almost 2,000 years ago. Located on the banks of the Thames, it preserves its historic center as one of the most important in the world: the City of London. Strolling through its streets, you can relive its long history, visit the Palace and Abbey of Westminster, London Bridge and Tower, Buckingham Palace, and the London Eye.

It's also a green city, with a multitude of parks and gardens that delight residents and visitors alike, such as Hyde Park and Kensighton Gardens, where you can stroll and relax from the hustle and bustle of a big city.

Its renowned prestige for its numerous museums, including the British Museum, the Natural History Museum, the Tate Modern, and the National Gallery, makes this city an excellent cultural destination.

Its long history and tradition have not prevented this city from becoming a modern and advanced city, with a cosmopolitan atmosphere where more than 300 languages are spoken, and which prides itself on being one of the most important financial centers in the world.

It also has one of the largest airport systems in the world, as well as a highly efficient transportation network, making it one of the world's top tourist destinations.
